Artistic Director

Felix Barrett MBE is the founder and artistic director of Punchdrunk, a world-renowned theatre company whose innovative work has changed the way audiences interact with culture. Recognised as being the “Pioneers of the ‘immersive theatre’ phenomenon” (The Telegraph) They were described as being “Hands down the best immersive theatre company in the world” (Timeout, 2023) Punchdrunk is also listed amongst the 50 most influential artists of the last 50 years (Sky Arts, 2022) alongside Bowie, Sir Steve McQueen and Vivienne Westwood, Punchdrunk is the only immersive company to have found long-running success on a global scale.

Felix conceived, directed and designed all Punchdrunk shows including the multi award-winning Sleep No More. This acclaimed production has received a Drama Desk Award and has been running in New York since 2011, making it the longest running immersive show in the world. Punchdrunk re-imagined Sleep No More in Shanghai, where it has since become the longest running international production in China, overtaking Disney’s The Lion King. Previous credits include: The Firebird Ball. Faust, The Masque Of The Red Death, It Felt Like A Kiss (a collaboration with documentary film-maker Adam Curtis, and musician Damon Albarn for Manchester International Festival), The Duchess Of Malfi (with English National Opera), The Crash Of The Elysium (Manchester International Festival and 2012 Cultural Olympiad), The Drowned Man: A Hollywood Fable, The Burnt City and the most recent Viola’s Room.

Punchdrunk has spear-headed experiences across gaming, music and tv. Past collaborators include Roc Nation, Rihanna, Sony PlayStation, Xbox and Louis Vuitton. Felix also created the BAFTA nominated The Third Day with HBO and Brad Pitt’s Plan B and The Third Day: Autumn, a 12-hour performance broadcast in real-time. Felix was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire in the 2016 Queen’s Birthday Honours for his services to theatre.

Sacha joined Punchdrunk as Co-Executive Producer in November 2023, after previously working as Producer on The Burnt City. She has a broad background as a producer, technical director, and production manager, with previous roles including Technical & Production Director at Secret Cinema, and Executive Producer at Shakespeare’s Globe. Sacha also held leadership positions at the National Theatre, including Director of Producing & Planning and Head of Production, overseeing the production of 26 shows annually. Her extensive production management experience includes notable shows like TINA – The Tina Turner Musical, War Horse, and Frankenstein.

Lucy first worked with Punchdrunk as General Manager on The Drowned Man: A Hollywood Fable before joining full time in 2016. Prior to working with Punchdrunk, she spent seven years at Mark Rubinstein Ltd working across a range of shows in the West End and touring nationally and internationally – most notably the first UK and Ireland tour of the National Theatre’s War Horse, and as General Manager of the Olivier Award winning La Soirée and La Clique.

Nicci began her career in 2004 at marketing agency AKA before moving into venue roles at artsdepot, New Wimbledon Theatre, and Bristol Old Vic, where she played a key role in the 250th anniversary rebrand. She then worked at the Ambassador Theatre Group’s Head Office, overseeing West End and nationwide marketing, including a secondment to Sonia Friedman Productions, before joining Punchdrunk in 2023.

Dom began working with Punchdrunk in 2024 on Viola’s Room. Prior to this she has worked across different cultural and historic sites, including the Southbank Centre and Royal Museums Greenwich, running artistic events, comedy gigs, food festivals and classical concerts, to name a few. Prior to her time in the Arts, a passion for food and wine had Dom working in the hospitality sector, honing her knowledge working with such chefs and companies as Ollie Dabbous and Nobel Rot. Dom also read History at the London School of Economics and is doing a part-time MSc in Marketing at King’s College London.

Ava has been part of Punchdrunk’s world since 2021, both freelance and in-house, following roles at TodayTix, The Royal Court, and KX Tickets, and leading ticketing operations at UCL. As a producer, she’s collaborated with Idina Menzel on UK concert engagements and contributed to major theatrical productions in the West End and beyond. Her debut novel was published by Penguin Random House in 2021, with a second on the horizon for 2025.

Georgia Figgis

Community & Creative Engagement Manager

Georgia began her career as a theatre-maker, working extensively across Immersive, Shakespeare, Musical Theatre, New Writing and Film as an actor, director and writer. Her creative work has featured at Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, Bunker Theatre, Southwark Playhouse, White Bear Theatre, and VAULT Festival. She joined Punchdrunk in 2022, working in Talent Development on The Burnt City, before progressing to her current role as Community and Creative Engagement Manager for Punchdrunk Global, where she leads multiple programmes to broaden access to the range and depth of Punchdrunk’s work. She is Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Frumpish Theatre, and an inaugural New Programmer for Camden People’s Theatre. She also works at Wilderness Festival as Artist Liaison.

Sarah joined Punchdrunk in 2024. Previous to this, she spent three years at the Royal Court Theatre, where she was Senior Producer leading on a slate of commissions and overseeing new work across the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs and Upstairs, as well as the exploitation of the Court’s work internationally. Over the past decade she worked in Producing roles at Fuel, the Lyric Hammersmith, Secret Cinema and the Old Vic, and as a freelance Producer.

Sophie joined Punchdrunk in 2023 with over 12 years’ experience in creative production. Previously Head of Producing at Somerset House, she directed large-scale public events and installations with internationally renowned artists. Prior to this, Sophie had a career in live music, running festivals and tours across the UK and worldwide as Head of Production for Serious, including the EFG London Jazz Festival.

Rich is an experienced Production Manager who has been delivering large-scale projects nationally and internationally for the past ten years. Since joining Punchdrunk in 2017, they have worked extensively across immersive and theatrical productions. A graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, their career spans work with companies such as Punchdrunk Enrichment, Les Enfants, Darkfield, The Lost Estate, Merlin, Underbelly, Avalon, and Vault Festival, delivering innovative and technically complex productions.

Before joining Punchdrunk in 2024, Swara worked as a PA to a leading dealer in Islamic art. Outside of Punchdrunk, he is a writer and filmmaker; his most recent work, a short play titled Notes from an Answering Machine, was showcased at London’s Park Theatre.

Production Coordinator

Daniel Kettle is a Production Coordinator and Theatre Maker whose work has been produced at Drogheda Arts Festival, PULSE, The Other Palace, Pleasance London, Sheffield Theatres, Underbelly and VAULT. Most recently his play Steve and Tobias Versus Death was adapted in Busan, Korea. Daniel joined Punchdrunk as crew in 2022.

Issi joined Punchdrunk in 2023 after earning an MA (Hons) in History from Edinburgh University in 2022. She previously worked as Learning & Outreach Coordinator at Seven Stories, The National Centre for Children’s Books, where she contributed to educational programming and community engagement.

Finance Officer

Judith studied Drama & Theatre Studies at Royal Holloway after which she briefly worked as a stage manager for a minor sketch show, partly written by a pair of newcomers called Steven Merchant and Ricky Gervais. Shortly afterwards she joined the design agency Lambie-Nairn working on notable on-screen projects such as BBC 24-hour news channel. She worked several years with director Colin Still at Optic Nerve on the acclaimed poetry series Arrows of Desire for Channel 4. She joined producer Ray Marshall at Festival Film & TV/What if it Barks Film working on the development of multiple feature films including the rom-com That Awkward Moment starring Zac Efron. 2021 brought a long-awaited move back to theatre when she joined Punchdrunk’s The Burnt City as Finance Assistant. In October 2023 she became Punchdrunk’s Finance Officer.

Tim Levy

Tim began working with Punchdrunk in 2024, having previously collaborated on Faust in London and Sleep No More in New York. He runs his own production company, producing plays and musicals on both sides of the Atlantic. Tim was formerly Director of NT America, producing American transfers of National Theatre productions like Angels in America, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, People, Places and Things, and War Horse. His past roles also include Producer at Boyett Theatricals and positions at the National Theatre and Donmar Warehouse.

Jay is an accomplished theatre professional with a diverse background in management, visitor experience, and production. Having worked across London’s vibrant arts and entertainment sector, Jay has honed a deep expertise in delivering exceptional experiences in the city’s top cultural institutions. He joined Punchdrunk In June 2023, as General Manager for The Burnt City. In February 2024, Jay transitioned to the role of General Manager for Punchdrunk Global, overseeing the company’s international projects, driving the expansion of its distinctive artistic vision, and connecting with audiences worldwide.

Amy joined the producing team in 2021. Prior to that, Amy has over ten years’ experience producing theatre, opera and her own student-run festival at Poltimore House, one of Punchdrunk’s first locations. In addition to her extensive experience of touring to theatres across the UK and internationally, Amy is particularly passionate about, and has been successful in, producing live experiences for non-traditional performance spaces, from historical Grade II-listed buildings to pubs, and anything in between.

Andrea Salazar

Head of Production

Andrea has been a Project Manager and Production Manager for theatre, events, experimental and site-specific artistic projects in London since 2005. She is passionate about transforming disused buildings and unconventional spaces into artistic and immersive experiences for all. Early in her career, she became the Production Manager for Shunt, pioneers of immersive theatre, who operated a multidisciplinary space in the Victorian arches of London Bridge. There, she helped bring to life some of the most exciting experimental art. In 2016, Andrea co-founded Darkfield, a company specialising in immersive storytelling, often transforming shipping containers into portals to extraordinary worlds and presenting work globally. She is deeply invested in audience experience, immersive technology, and the power of creative collaboration. Her first encounter with Punchdrunk was on The Drowned Man as Production Manager. In her career, she has realised projects in theatres, outdoor festivals, warehouses, museums, libraries, churches, schools, public toilets, phone boxes and many others.

Dmitry joined the team in 2025 having worked in accounting across entertainment for a number of years. He has worked on live tours for comedians such as Russell Howard to the production of Operation Mincemeat. Most recently, Dmitry spent the last two years working in Canada overseeing kids’ animation productions including Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood and Rosie’s Rules. In his spare time, he enjoys swimming and frequent trips to South America.

Jack joined Punchdrunk in 2024 after starting his career with the Ambassador Theatre Group and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He spent five years at Sonia Friedman Productions, working on productions like The Book of Mormon and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and has since contributed to over 30 West End, international, and touring productions, most recently with Wessex Grove on An Enemy of the People.

Malú is an international arts leader and producer from Argentina, with a focus on artistic programming, diversity, and amplifying underrepresented voices. She has held senior roles at Battersea Arts Centre and the Roundhouse, and produced the Globe to Globe Festival and World Hamlet tour at Shakespeare’s Globe. A freelancer, she’s worked with Rematch, Secret Cinema, and 59 Productions, and co-founded the women-led collective Murmuration. Malú has also worked as Executive Producer at National Theatre Wales and with Cirque du Soleil. She joined Punchdrunk in 2024.

Maggie joined Punchdrunk in December 2024. Originally from Dublin, she has worked in the UK arts sector for over 20 years, building up extensive arts sector experience both nationally and internationally. Her previous roles have included Executive Director and Producer working with companies including Raucous Theatre, Bristol Old Vic, National Theatre, Bristol City Council and Arts Council of Wales. Her work covers a variety of immersive arts experiences and stage productions. She has run, Wales’ Edinburgh Festival Fringe, international showcase for over five years.

At Green Man Festival, Alex led award-winning initiatives in accessibility and sustainability, and his work with Truck Festival involved producing vibrant, multi-sensory environments for large audiences. With a passion for building extraordinary spaces that transport audiences, Alex thrives at the intersection of storytelling and production.

Joe first started with Punchdrunk in 2021 where he played a key role in the delivery and realisation of The Burnt City. He has also worked with Punchdrunk Enrichment since 2022 delivering immersive projects both nationally and internationally. Since 2024, he has been the Deputy Production Consultant for Punchdrunk. Joe’s previous work and projects include: Lost Lending Libary – Edinburgh International Festival, Singapore and Shanghai Tour for Punchdrunk Enrichment, The Burnt City for Punchdrunk, Channel 4 and ITV Events for Experience Ltd, 2021 Season for Garsington Opera. Joe studied Theatre Practice at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and graduated in 2020.

Chris brings a wealth of experience from stage to screen, with credits spanning major musicals like Matilda the Musical and Chicago to collaborations with artists such as Rihanna and Coldplay. Fay became part of the Punchdrunk team in 2024. Previously, she studied Theatre with Visual Practice in Brighton, debuting with a site-specific showcase. Originally from the Southwest, she has a rich background in open-air and touring productions, working with Kneehigh Theatre, CScape Dance, and Miracle Theatre. After joining Shakespeare’s Globe in 2013, Fay production-managed diverse events, from immersive beach theatre with Wildworks to a Damon Albarn concert and the Globe’s Hamlet world tour, spanning 185 countries.

Anita joined Punchdrunk in 2024 following roles working as executive and creative producer, and artistic director. She has over 20 years’ experience in practical, creative and strategic delivery of international large-scale immersive experiences, spanning theatre, heritage, and live events. Specialising in creating site-specific theatrical environments, Anita has worked extensively with innovative multi-media. Producing award winning digital work, she has led on projects that integrate emerging technologies, bespoke UX design, and live performance.
